Crispy Salmon Onigiri
A delightful fusion of tender salmon and Mingle's savoury Furikake seasoning, wrapped in a crispy, golden rice ball.

Ingredients

3 cups short grain rice (warm)

⅔ cup Mingle’s Furikake seasoning
- 250g raw salmon (minced)
- 3 tbsp light mayo
- 1 ½ tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Directions
Filling
- Place all filling ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix together until everything is completely combined
Assembly
- Press ¼ cup rice into the bottom on an onigiri mold
- Press a tbsp sized divet in the center of the rice and fill with a scoop of salmon filling
- Top with an additional 2-3 tbsp rice and firmly press with the onigiri mold top
- Take the onigiri ball out of mold and, coat sides with some olive oil & dip in Mingle’s Furikake seasoning
- Heat 1-2 tbsp olive oil in a pan on medium high heat, place onigiri in pan & fry until each side is golden brown
