Ingredients
- 500g of chicken strips, beef strips or pork mince
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 packet of thin egg noodles
- ½ Onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cups cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 large carrot, thinly sliced
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 100g of crushed peanuts
- 1 x sachet of Mingle Chow Mein
- 125 ml of water

Directions
CHOW MEIN SAUCE
- Mix together water and Mingle Chow Mein until fully dissolved
NOODLE PREP
- Make the noodles according to the packet instructions & then drain & rince with cold water. Set aside.
- STIR FRY
- Heat sesame oil in wok or large fry pan over high heat.
- Add protein & onion to wok. Stir fry for 1-2 minutes or until it starts to brown.
- Add remaining veg and stir fry for 2 more minutes
- Add the sauce & cook for 2 minutes.
- Add noodles & stir fry until sauce has reduced/absorbed into the noodles. This should take about 3-4 minutes. Stir constantly
- Add bean sprouts, spring onions & cook for 1 more minute. Add a dash of soy or chilli if you want a bit more heat or salt.
- Top with peanuts and enjoy!
